if you want it for a daily driver, then why not

however, you will probably find that most people on here love spirited driving/autocross/DE/car racing

I doubt you can build a GOOD air-ride setup for a price of a coilover set

id be hesitant to do that, theres a reason why it is only on luxury sedans and suvs....

not to mention the weight of an air system.

i have played with the idea of air jacks before lol but those are usually powered externally (the jacks themselves are on the car but the compressor is in the pit stop, a quick hose connection and the jacks deploy)

what were you thinking in terms of parts that would be cheaper then a coilover system?

I haven't seen anyone with air-ride even autocross their car yet ...

You will get an extra 10hp if you remove that heavy rear spoiler and let me fit it on my turbo. What is it? +3 on more pics pls.

well if youve ever watched the top gear where they test the merc CLS it handles pretty well with an air suspension in the back

but it still weighs 4500lbs or so

I know guys on Audi forum use their Allroads on track days too, and those cars have air-ride systems too

I dont know why you would do that though, so I'm just looking for a reason? those are also "stock" systems, not "aftermarket"
