yup- trans goes back 1/2" then straight down- also helps to pull the shift rod way forward.

Got the power steering working today finally. Had to replace the pump and the high pressure line for the second time but now its not moaning and groaning anymore. Car runs great, clutch feels nice and the straightpipe makes the car sound much more aggressive. Washed her up today , just need to respray the wheels and it'll be ready for the Porsche Palooza. The brake dust stuck to the wheels and has turned into a layer of brown rust imbedded into the paint.

Ouch... still too soon Travis.

J/k, I actually voted for respraying the wheels. They look liks ***, and we don't want those tail draggers at the dealership looking down on the dragon!

hm- we thought about having a flame thrower in the front but after doing a race it seems that a good theme really doesnt help you much so im not wasting anymore on the theme. I think we'll invest more money on ways to cheat.

FWIW, Lemons 2010 schedule is out, and there is nothing at Nelsons The only 2 24 hr races on the Lemons schedule are Cali and FLA IIRC. You'd think somebody would put something together to keep something similar alive and local.

Chump Car runs for 24 hours at Gingerman so I can't imagine LeMons would split it up into 2 races....

i did remove the mega lights. I may remove the fogs as well. I was thinking of making one big braket to mount all the lights to and then make it removable w/ studs etc and a quick connect plug so i can pull them off when not in use. It'll be green of course.

gingerman and there is a lemons race in chicago. those be our closest venues, i think.

Maybe the Nelson Ledges staff/owners asked em not to come back, the place might have been trashed after everone left. who knows.

Nelson staff wanted them to come back and had already set a date aside for them if they wanted it. The younger judges felt nelson was "unsafe" which is a crock of **** because they already had no plans of coming back. The two weekends at Gingerman were booked long before the Nelson race even took place so their mind was made up even before that race that they weren't coming back.

What alignment settings did you guys end up using? We have stock ride height and no front coil over kit or anything. Running the same Hankooks you did with 951 sways. Wondering if I should set the car up aggressively despite the high ride height.
