The only 'shredding' i want to see from our car is us shredding up the course.
The only 'crushing' i want to see in our pits is us stomping on empty beer cans.
No car crushing, no, no, no. oh please no !

I hear Jay Lamm crushed his VW bus pace car this year for lack of a peoples curse... If he likes the dragon too much he may just take it after the race and give you guys $500. It sure is pretty.

the peoples curse if voted by all in attendance, and usually its for cheaters w/ big motors etc, not or people w/ cool graphix...
Alan stopped by tonite w/ the brother in law and we got some more work done. ALan secured the drivers seat alittle better w/ large washers under the car, swapped out the front brake pads w/ the hawk blues and dropped us some front camber. Josh replaced the wiper motor for me and now we have wipers! I finally got our new door handle to work w/ much adjustment and made some mounts for things like the headlight switch and mounted some air horns under the front of the car replacing the non-op stock horns.

How we doing as far as a fire extinguisher goes? I looked at Wall Mart the other night, but those are plastic mounted : (
Also, I think you need to wrap the Positive Terminal with tape. (I forgot to mention that last saturday)
Another I dea I have is to get two oven timers and screw/glue one to the dash and the other for the pits. you know, the kind that go off like a mad ringing clock. that way, when we go out, we set both for 30 mins, 45 mins, 60 mins, and when they go off, both driver and pit crew know it's time, no relying on one or the other to watch a stop watch. what ya think?

You are taking a good looking Porsche with 2 hood badges, wings and scales...
I hope all goes very well for the team, a good clean race, start to finish with many laps logged... and a good time had by all... The car looks great, and you should all have a great time.....

Thanks Fergus.
If my memory serves me correct, the stock seat mounts(captive nuts) in the floor are still there so two bolts and washers and done. Not Sure if Dan or Alan already has a line on one but if you have room to bring it, I'd say bring it. My trailer has extinguishers so we have protection in our pit area.
Dan, I can hit Odd Lots / Big Lots for a timer this weekend or if you have a chance since you have the car at your place. I'd think that one for $5 bucks or less is available, like at k-mart even. Just glue it to the dash or something. A second one for the pits would keep us all in check with what to expect.
