Now you don't know if you have a seized motor because a shop that you sent it to, even though everything you do gets done in house as you said, told you have a bad motor? Why did you send it somewhere to replace a simple starter when you have all those expert resources in house? Am I missing something?

i was going away for a week on the power tour so i figured i would drop it off have the starter changed and i would have it back when i got home. damn, problem solved.

Were you the guy in the 944? I met up with some friends of mine in Bristol on Friday night. They'd said there was a 944 on part of the trip. FWIW, the guys I met up with were in a black 928, a silver Fiero, a 69 Camaro, black SS454 truck, Mercury Marauder, and for a while, a Cosworth Sierra.
