I seem to work on my car every day.
Two new A-Arms
New Rear A-Arm bushings
Oil Change
New K&N Air Filter (the one that fits in the airbox, not the conical thing)
New Alarm/Keyless entry system
Fixed the door lock actuators
Try to fix the tach (seems to stop working every couple of days)
Check the timing belts
Bleed the cooling system
Give the car a good wash
Top off the gas tank
Go for a long drive
Tomorrow:
Finish up the alarm/keyless entry system
Track down alarming noise coming from the steering rack
Track down alarming noise coming from the exhaust
Get the wheels aligned
Figure out why fuel leaks from the gas cap every time I go out for a spirited run (something about a plugged drain tube)
Wash the car
Go out for a long drive

I did a lot of stuff to my cars within the last week.
I welded the missing inner sway bar bracket back onto the frame, and reinstalled the front sway bar in my 944, for the first time in like 2-3 years. What a difference it makes to have a front sway bar.
Rear brake pads on the '95. I like replacing them as soon as the light comes on, so I can reuse the sensors. Damned sensors are pricey!
Retensioned belts in the '95.
And I put another 500 miles on my '93!

Finished pulling the head off, added more things to my to-do list, sat in the new Corbeau driver seat and made engine noises. I may jack the front end up and finish taking the lower belt cover off.

You are going to owe us all pictures of this.
Today:
Finished up keyless entry. Then stood outside of the car and happily clicked the remote a few hundred times.

I got my cheapo mirrors installed..they are off of an Oldsmobile (I know it sounds weird but they don't really go with the Olds and they look kind of like the 968 mirrors)
They are about 6 pounds lighter for the set
Here are a couple of pics, I am still in the process of making a more angled gasket to get them a little more upright. I painted them black real quick and will fully install them tomorrow. I will have to weld up a couple holes on the doors and do a respray on them too.
Total cost so far 20.00. I already had the paint from previous paintwork.

I also got my 2 step hooked up. Now I blow some pretty badass flames on shift and can get the car moving a little quicker off the line. I had to lower the limit as I was blowing the tires off at 3800. The boost doesn't drop more than a pound between shifts and it feels like a smoother transition between gears.

Yesterday... ran wiring from driver's trunk cubby to head unit, and wiring from speakers to cubby. Rough wired it all in and tested. 2 Hours work.
Today... wired in stereo and equalizer. Still need to make a bracket for the eq. Wired amps and mounted board in cubby. Cleaned up all wiring and tested sound. Sounds great. Sub works pretty well for being a first sample. Booms great. I may need to upgrade all the speakers, they may be drying out.

Took about 8 hours to complete the CPR Racing 968 spoiler prepwork. Should look great.
Started and completed the GT Racing bumper prep work. Removing the stock bumper is extremely annoying. Took about 1 1/2 hours. Total prep work for gt racing bumper was 6-7 hours.
Going to have the rear window re-tinted tomarrow and drop of the spoiler and bumper for paint.
NEXT:
Polish exhaust tip
Clean-up lower diffuser

took apart the console to try to get my lights working and they did until i put the console together and started driving at night when i actually needed the lights.
redid my power locks (new actuators both sides, rewired the switch)
finished rebuilding the spare torque tube after painting it red last week (because i can), got a adapter plate tapped for putting a turbo trans on my early car...
then blasted 80 miles in it back to school to the new metallica cd and got a great parking spot right out front.

Step 1 - heat clear plastic rock shields with gf hair dryer
A. remove six cracked and broken shields with plastic scraper
B. Brush on 3M adhesive remover, breath deep for lasting effect, scrap again
C. Use plastic brush for removal of rest of adhesive
Used rubbing compound and waxed.
Saturday
Cleaned outside
waxed some more
Cleaned inside with vinyl cleaner
discovered tears in drivers seat
Drive to perfect location for pics at sunset, allow camera batteries to discharge, no photos
Get up Sunday at 4:50AM to get sunrise pics, charge camera batteries overnite
good pics
Write ebay summary of 5+ years of ownership
post ebay add!
Anyway, the car looks better than at anytime since I have owned it. That will make it harder to sell.
