as title states, can i put a 968 door and quarter window on an early 944? the doors look to be the same dimensions and the windows too but they have a different design around the windows that looks a little more modern

I think you can use early door panels on late doors, but not the other way around... so it should work (?)

I'm pretty sure that early and late doors are different...why would you put expensive 968 parts on an early 944?

I'm sure you could get a glass guy to put 968 windows in for you. They are urethane windows not rope-in.

The 968 quarter window is different than the 944. The bottom of the glass is flatter where the 944 glass is angled upwards along the fender.

door should fit- quarter glass is different.

The 968 quarter window is completely different and only works in 968s. The door will work, but the interior door panel will not line up with your early dash (costmetic problem only).
