I'll add another vote for "Lowrider" and place a vote for
"Red Barchetta" by Rush
Lots of good tunes being nominated, but since we're talking about driving tunes I'll give preference to songs about cars.

AC/DC - Shoot To Thrill (and a few other songs from the Back in Black album).
You Got Another Thing Coming - Judas Priest(?)
And there's a Def Leppard song that I just can't think of the name right now...
Hmmm... anyone notice how most of what is posted here is "kick-yer-******-in-the-head" Rock and Roll?

I believe the song referring to the woman driving a 944 is "Welcome To The Boomtown". Don't remember who it's by tho..

Yeah, like "Miss Christina drives a 944..." OSLT. Bruce Hornsby & The Range? I don't remember - pretty terrible song though.

Being 19, I don't have much in the way of Zeppelin or AC/DC, but thanks to the Simpsons, Radar Love by Golden Earring is forever etched in my mind as THE cruising song. Other than that, it'll be:
Sandstorm : Darude
Judith : A Perfect Circle
F*cking in the Bushes : Oasis
Rapture : By Iio, remixed by Armin van Buuren
Hundred Mile High City : Ocean Colour Scene
Straight Outta Compton : NWA
and
Smack My B*tch Up : Prodigy

I like all the prodigy suggestions, but if its racing music you're looking for, then I vote for Prodigy - Speedway. Thats the quintessence of techno for racing. Also, if you're going to throw in rap and rock songs for a racing music cd, you might as well put in every Tool song off Lateralus, Aenema, Undertow, Opiate, and Salival...the best band ever!

How about some late 70's, early 80's synthesized fast paced jazz music often played in similar vintage rally racing videos. I don't know any titles off the top of my head, but maybe someone else can suggest something.
Most of you are probably thinking WTF, but I am sure someone knows what I am talking about and thinks it kicks butt.
