I'm pretty sure it's somone at my work who is keying my car cus it has happened several times in different spots on my car and only when I park my car at work (i only work 2-3 days a week as I'm a student).

It got keyed pretty bad on Friday going right to the primer on the driver side mirror and a small part on the door. The guy was probably too scared to do more.

I know its someone from my work as its someone targetting me and not some random person coming back on the days I work to key my car lol.

people at my work know what car I have and a bunch of losers work at my work ( I work in autoparts of Canadian tire lol). Anyways even though my car isn't worth much (I paid 4100 for it and spent more than that on parts / service since then), I still had to work for it and I've spent a lot of time on it so it pisses me off when some loser wants to vandelise my property.


anyways nothing I can do about it even though I'm pretty sure I know who it is. I told a couple people at my work to watch out to see if anyone goes around my car I tried to park it closer to the mechanic shop so people can see it.

I'm pretty sure it's this guy at work, he was out all day on that day and he doesn't like me and seems to fit the loser type that would do something like that.

It's retarded but even though another guys honda civic is worth much more than my porsche people still see it as a porsche and losers get jelous and want to ruin your car.



Anyways worst thing is my car had a new paint job when I bought it 3 years ago and it's charcoal grey.


now to get to the point of this thread, I'm wondering if I could get touhup paint for it. it was repainted so I don't know what the paint code is and the paint code sticker is not on my car. but I'm pretty sure it said charcoal grey it's almost black from a distance.

I know lordco can scan your paint and and mix paint in a can but I don't want to spray it I want a touchup pen.

anyone know what I can do? the scraches are deep the person pretty much dug into it trying to chip away the paint to the metal.

I feel for you. Some a$$hat keyed my sons BMW with new custom paint from taillight to head light. They also got an Acura and Infiniti belonging to friends. The touch up pens are better for your purposes but why bother if they are just going to do it again? Go to the manager and let him know this is happening only at work...someone there doesn't like you and he might have an idea who it might be. Next thing you know that someone will kick in a door or snap off a mirror.

yeah I asked around but no cameras anywhere in these parking lots funny. They can't even catch the employees stealing from the workplace so they won't care about my car.

 

I did talk to the owner and store manager but they can't really do ****. plus I am 99% sure i know who it is. He was there that day and I can tell he doesn't like me just some jelous loser. Again not that I'm driving some expensive car other peoples hondas and toyotas are worth more than my car but some people are idiots. This guy is around my age (22) and is actually a small manager there and doesn't even have a driving license yet. We're both friendly with each other at work but I can tell he doesn't like me and I don't like him aswell lol.

anyways this thread isn't about my workplace drama but was wondering how I can get touchup paint to match.

and I am parking across the mechanic shop now so the mechanics can see through the windows and I told some of the mechanics i'm friends with to keep a look out to see if anyone hanging around my car.

anyways I'm glad he didn't key it in a larger area lol, it's only the side mirror that's really bad and a half inch part on the door.

he must have been scared to do more or maybe he felt guilty.

 

would a car alarm go off if somone keys your car? I used to have e cheapo car alarm but i never installed it in the car because I hate car alarms.

 

hook a twelve volt battery up to the body panels so that anybody touches it gets a little jolt?

nah, just kidding...i'd see if a paint place could scan the color and give you the color code, then go onto paintscratch or something like that to order a touch up pen

 

yeah thanks. i'm taking a piece off (fuel cap) and bringing it to a place to try and scan it. Lordco said they can mix paint to match a color but on my other car they couldn't scan the color.

I just can't some people are so screwed up in the head that they get pleasure from vandelising other people's property.

forgot to mention I also checked my tires when I saw this and on the front tire on the same side where it got keyed you can see someone trying to dig into the sidwall with whatever they used to scrach the car.

 

bastards!! set up a webcam or something in the hatch area facing forward to try to catch them!!!

 

lol yeah right. whatever it's just a car I just don't want it keyed again much worse.

all I can do is try to park it as close to the mechanic shop so more people can see it. The bastard who I know keyed it was working out in the parking lot all day that day.
