Default Will 18" 987 Cayman S wheels fit on late offset 944?

Any body have 18" Cayman S wheels on their late offset 944?

I know 986/996 part # wheels require a 7mm space up front to clear the dust cap. I haven't seen any 987 wheels on a 944 yet.

Thx!

They should. I had 17" Boxster wheels and they fit very nicely.

I have 17" Cayman (non-S) wheels on my 944S and can tell you they won't fit over the OE dust cap in front even with a 7mm spacer. I have to run mine without dust caps and still need the spacer to clear the hub. I'm looking for a better solution that doesn't require machining the hub because I really like the wheels.

You got a pic of those wheels on your 944S? Looking for some wheels for my 944S. I ran 18" 993 turbo twists last summer, but the 10" rears are too big. Ideally, I want some 16" and 17" rims.

This is from the PO's sale photos, I haven't taken any new ones.

It's the cap that seals the outer hub, spindle, and spindle nut and helps to keep the bearing grease in place. Without some type of cap or seal, water and debris can get to the outer bearing.
