Default Weird Speedometer Problem

Its not really a problem but annoying. When hitting the gas from a standstill the spedo gauge dosent move at all until I tap on the plastic in front of it. Could it be not getting a good ground ?

I had that after doing some work on the gauge pod and it my case it was the tach operating at about half speed. It was a poor connection.

Most likely this is caused by the needle sticking to the stop. It usually cures itself
after the weather warms up.
