As anybody ever seen this before? 911 dash in 924S?
I was going through the 924.board yesterday and I found this. It's a 924S with a 968 motor and a 911 dash. The 968 motor has been done before on other 924S', but does anybody have more information about the 911 dash? I wonder how hard it would be?

It looks more like a dash cap over the original and lots of pretty pieces to update the looks. I like it.

I wish I had more pictures, but this is the only one I could fine. Personally I like the look, but i'm sure it's complicated as fu*k to install. It kind of looks like the 911 dash stuck on top of the early dash. I wish somebody had more pictures or knew something about it, because it might be worth trying.

It looks pretty cool, but I bet on closer inspection or from straight on it looks funky. That's still the 924 gauge cluster and I doubt it mates up well with the 911 dashcap. Points for effort though.

on closer inspection the 924 gauge panel appears to be the stock one, so im going along with the idea that its a 911 dash cover with other mods to look complete.. it wouldnt be terribly hard to make something to support those upper middle gauges either..

Exactly! I'm searching Google right now looking for information on this dash. So far I've only found one other picture, but it's of the seats. Maybe when I find a 911 at a junkyard I'll get the dash off it. Thats rare though since I live in Chico, lol.

Here is a better view of the dash cover. In pictures it looks good, but not factory - like. Of course, in real life things may feel and look much better or much worse. I remember seeing such covers on ebay some time ago but i don't remember the price. If your car's dash is in bad condition with many cracks, then go for it. If your dash is in good shape, keep it original.

Different car too. I think I kinda like it. While I have always liked the center console of the old dash, I never liked the instrument pod. This freshens it up a bit....
