If your dash is in good shape, keep it original.
Where did you find this? Do you have any more information on it?

I want one of those dash covers! Well it's not the most beautiful thing in the world, but it looks pretty cool and my dash is as cracked as they come.

That 924S has an S2 engine not a 968 engine.

If installed correctly i think it looks good, the one on the first car looks very nice, the second one is a lot worse in my opinion.

ps:It's a fiberglass dash cap sold by pefa design http://pefa-design.de/en_prod.htm

I like it. It makes the ugly Scirocco early dash look much better.

Yeah. But is it worth 145 Euros plus shipping and import fees or whatever? Does anyone here know about just swapping in a late 944 dash? How hard would that be?

Anyone?

I'm trying to decide what's better; I'm doing a cost/awesome analysis - this dash cap for 145 euros or a french-stitched custom reupholstered early dash from the 928 leather shop. I don't care what anyone says, the early dash in leather with french stitches looks tight.

+1. I'd rather have a my dash covered from the 928 Leather shop it looks beautiful, but it is costly. In the second picture of the yellow 944 interior, the dash looks kind of cheap, but the first one in the 924S looks very nice. Maybe somebody should buy one and find out.

Thanks for finding that catamax944.

Sorry Marc, how silly of me to even suggest such an absurdity.

OK well one of us ^^^ has gone the high road and committed to swapping a 944 dash. For the rest of us, at least we have another option besides egspensive leather and nastee cracks. When Obama sends me my stimulus check for 145 euros I will consider the dash cap or saving it for leather.

In the mean time, the plastic dash cover continues to squeak and rattle and drive me BONKERS.

I got the PEFA dash, but it needs to be molded into your car. You have to use patience and mold it together with the old if its gonna look good. Im working on it now, hope Il be finished before the end of the summer. Also woring on customing one of PEFAs front bumper to hold some new lights.
