Default hall sensor

im about to get my new DME for my 944s,but before i install it,i need to figure out which way the hall sensor plugs in because the plastic around mine broke apart..do the numbers 1 2 3 line up with the metal clip going across or do the number go on the side where the clip dose not go across fully? might be a bit confusing but i dont know how explain it..

I presume you are talking about the DME plug. Its the hall sensor referance I am not following. I don't know of any hall effects devices on our cars at all. The DME plug in is pretty straight forward. There is only one way. I am sorry I cannot be more help. But I think you could be talking about several different things here. The cam sensor on the 944s, speed and referance sensor are like hall sensors, But they all can only go one way. You can mix up the speed/referance sensor plugs, but the 16valve cars don't have a referance sender, but the cam sensor. I think a lot of us here are pulling for you to get this car running. Keep us posted and don't give up. You are gonna see this car run real soon!

Are the color of the wires the same on both sizes of the connector? If so just match them up. In the picture it looks like black, green and red so black to black red to red green to green.

I think the 1,2,3 goes across the side the clip crosses, as that is usually the front of the plug

My car is covered up but I'll try and take a look in a little.
