but why ????
I dont understand this facination with removing standard decals of any car.
Maybe I can understand removing names of dirtbox cars
but of a Porsche.... ???? WHY

I like the decal. Mine has a couple pieces flaked off and I'd like to replace it. Definitely screams 80s, but that's part of the charm.
But you should keep or remove based on what you like. It's your car. Cheers!

It already has a "PORSCHE" impressed into the rear spoiler, don't see why you need two at the rear. Remove it, you have a Porsche, your car is engineered better than 99% of the cars on the road, be understated - there's no need to scream about it.

I've left mine on, I think it looks good. Besides, with my 968 spoiler on the car instead of the stock one, that's the only place on the back of the car that says "PORSCHE".

i want to take it off (along with the 944 logo) to clean up the back end and to stop those damn civics and focuses from coming up and trying to race me.
maybe someday ill put a simple "SC" logo on the back and keep the porsche badge on the front. i do like the look of the painted in letters on the rubber spoiler but that might also get replaced by a 968 style someday.

Yeah it seems like everyone is forgetting you could order the cars without the decals/emblems. I'm going for a factory cup car look with mine, and many of the pictures I have seen show the cars with no rear decal.

Took mine off as well, but haven't gotten the goo off. I actually thought about putting a black one on so you could barely read it; sort of a "stealth" thing. Thought better of it

I took the Porsche decal and the Turbo emblem off the back of my Turbo Cup car when I bought it in 1987, and they are still off, twenty-one years and eighteen thousand (well, actually 18,800) miles later.
