Post Vinyl dash cover

Does any one know a good Vinyl dash cover that would look better then the plastic one I have or a better solution then a plastic or fabric cover.

Other than a new dash or recovering your old one, that's about your only choice. I have a coverlay on mine that's all cracked and needs replacing. I don't know what my dash looks like under it. It's glued on and I don't want to pull it off until I get a replacement.

I used a coverlay on mine and i think it looks great.....I've even forgot about it until I read this....It matches perfect.. even the grain....I used silcone to glue it down and it hasn't cracked or lifted anywhere yet..

A couple questions: How long have you had it on? Do you park in a garage? Do you use a sunshade when parked outside?

I just want to get a feel for how long these things last.

yeah - my main problem with coverlays is that they keep popping up because they don't fit exactly right... how did yours fit?
sillicone has kept it on okay?

I have had a Coverlay for 5 years, adhered w/ clear silicone.

I has not lifted or cracked at all in that time. The car is located in Florida, is not garaged and I do not use a sun shade.

Does anyone know where to get a dashcover for an early 944 in RHD?

You can all stop laughing now.

The 924/944 is the only car less than 40 yrs old I have ever seen to suffer from a cracked dash in England!

Martin Taylor - you are a star. I genuinely believed that my dash was a lost cause.
