My 951 was attacked by a paintball gun in traffic!!
What is wrong with people?! I was sitting at a busy intersection this afternoon in my 951 when all of a sudden I heard a LOUD CRASH sound. I wasn't rolling so I knew I didn't hit something or run over something, but when I looked out the passenger side window there was paint splattered all over the glass. I didn't see anyone from the side, so I quickly went since the light was green and pulled into Best Buy to see what happened. I thought it was only the one shot but when I got out there was a shot about midways up on the windshield, a shot in the pass. side glass, and a third shot in the door.
I called the police since it happened in a busy intersection and I wanted it to be known in case anyone else was getting shot at and called it in. Luckily it has washed off and I don't see any dents or paint damage. If my window was open though it probably would have hit me, possibly in the face. Seriously what is wrong with people these days.
Here is a picture, most of the splatter didn't show up and a lot of what was on the glass went away from the wind blowing on it when I was driving home. But it gives you the idea.

violence is wrong but if i saw the guy, i would have run over him and then plead guilty with insanity.

They don't use road side cameras in my town, and the way everything is positioned in the intersection I doubt there is any view of the road anways from store cameras. It happened so quickly and unexpectedly that I didn't see anything.

As a paintball player, I'm sorry to hear about it.
As a fellow Porsche owner I'm even more sorry to hear about it. They are starting to crack down on it here in AL about paintball guns used like that.

Is this for real?...it was probably some teenagers just having some fun. And I doubt they would have shot at you if your window had been down. No harm no foul, right?
I would rather them have the paintball guns than the real ones that most seem to have nowadays....a paint ball drive-by...sounds kind of funny actually
