As was mentioned before, there seems to be a 5-10 minute delay before it shows up so wait a few minutes before you do a test post.
Size wise, I wouldn't think there's a need for an avatar any wider than the red "rennlist member" insignia, after that they crowd (or worse, move) the default margin, which makes more scrolling for all of us.

OK I'm gonna break down and try to do a custom avatar. Only problem is, I don't know how to downsize my image or what format to use. Could someone downsize and repost it for me.
