tsw,

if you're certain those are pix of your car, contact ebay immediately and let them know that seller is misusing ebay to perpetrate a fraud (the oldest game of "bait & switch"). He may have a car to sell, but we doubt that its as nice as those pictures of your car that he's using as bait to some unsuspecting sucker.

i emailed him and asked some questions like:
why is it an 86 with a pre 85.5 interior
why is it a turbo without the turbo look
some things like that

i am thinking about winning the auction just so people will not loose their money. and when i win i could be like "wow fast delivery.. i steped outside and it was there, YOU MOTHER ****ER, THIS IS MY CAR!!!"

DON'T REPORT THIS!!!

My friend is emailing him to ask him what it would take for him to end the auction.

He's going to say something like...

"Dude, I love your car I've been looking forever for one just like that, I'll give you $10K for it! End the auction and I'll have the check out tomorrow..."

Then get the guys address and send him a blank piece of paper with "IOU $10K SUCKER - FRAUD DOESN'T PAY BUDDY" written on it.

HAHAHA

That way the guy has to end the auction and waste his $30.

I say we play with this guy, don't turn him in yet. This could be fun.

You should email him and say "Wow, your 86 944 Turbo looks an AWFUL lot like my 1983 944 na."

This is pathetic. You know, it would be interesting to win the auction, tell him you want to send the deposit, get his address and call the feds. Or better yet when you don't send his deposit and he starts to complain and report you to eBay or gets a lawyer because eBay bidding is a "contract" - you sue his a$$.

That would be fun to watch.

Do it

What a ****ing idiot, he says it's a turbo yet he shows the engien compartment and it's clearly not a turbo. What a moron. Also don't any of these idiot bidders wonder why $2700 is above is his reserve for a TURBO? The cheapest i've seen a turbo (beat to **** even) is $6k

On a side note i am so envious of everyone elses cars, my car only had 59k miles on it when i bought it but it seems like everyone elsese car looks better both inside and out, how do you keep [in some cases] a 20 year old car so nice?
