Default What color is this?

Saw this in Off Topic. It's amazing and if the paint is still available where would I order it from? I may have plans to repaint a car sometime soon and I've been scoping out colors. This may be it.

Sure looks like Mexico Blue to me. Color code 336 (at least in the 70s - they're still offering it as far as I can tell, so it's probably got an updated code).

Looks like Mexico Blue.

Another blue that looks good on our cars is Riviera Blue.

The following blue codes were availible in 1974:

Standard Colors:
  • Mexico Blue: Coupe - K5K5, Targa - K5V9
Special Colors(extra cost):
  • Gulf Blue: Coupe - J9J9, Targa - J9V9
  • Bahama Blue: Coupe - K7K7, Targa - K7V9 **Option 427 Mandatory on Carrera(gold side lettering).
  • Blue Metallic: Coupe - X1X1, Targa - X1V9 *Metallic colors not available on Carrera.
  • Gemini Blue Metallic: Coupe - X3X3, Targa - X3V9 *Metallic colors not available on Carrera.
  • Paint to sample: Coupe - 9999, Targa - 99V9

I dunno...could be one of these. My dad used to sell these in the 70's so he has a bunch of literature and dealer propaganda. This list is from a 1974 Porsche-Audi fact handbook(for use within the the Porsche Audi organization only)....or so it warns me on the first page.

Here's a 928 in Minerva Blue... The color you're talking about seems a little darker to me.
