Ok. Ok Ok. I'm awake. got the car loaded, gotta get 3 important things before I show up at your house Tom, a cup of coffee, a tank of gasoline, and some smokes...

Anyway, Tom, I thought of 1 more tool... a Pulley remover... or a crowbar....

It's a little far for me to help.

Besides, with my track record this weekend you probably wouldn't want me around. I tried to do the belts on someone else's 944 yesterday but we couldn't get the crank bolt loose. Him pulling/me pushing ona 3/4" breaker bar did nothing but bruise the palm of my hand. We then put the breaker bar somewhat horizontal and tried to jack it up with a floor jack, and all that did was want to lift the car off the jack stands.

After that, all we could do is stare at the car while drinking a beer.

Ours went pretty smooth. four or five guys, all working well together. I was under the car futzing with the heat shield on the starter while two guys were installing the air box.

started it up, ran like a top. ready to take it for a spin while admiring our work and the car dies.

see my other post.

Here are the spare parts.
Thanks Geoff, Joe and Max for helping out.
Max left a little before we realized what goofs we were. My neighbors ten year old told us we were "those three guys, you know one's name is moe."

Great to be owned by a ten year old.

Sorry I could not make it.

Tom, you might R&R and loctite the AFM to airbox bolts yourself. They like to come loose and go down the hatch, ruining the turbo. While Geoff, etc. probably did a good job, it's not something you want to leave to someone else you want to stay friends with.
