Default Belts/944 GTG Denver area Sunday 9/28/08

My house. Centennial Colorado. Arapahoe road between Broadway and I-25

I have a three car garage. Geoff agreed to be the lead installer. Joe R. agreed to be the lead second wrench. Together we should be able to iron out what has to be ironed out.

I will supply the Big Bills (orignally from Long Beach NY) NY pizza - no anchovies!

My next door neighbor will lend us his compressor...

My belts come in from Paragon on tuesday.

Lets see who needs what done, and see how we can help each other. Anyone else with expertise we can grub?

I need to swap my test pipe in so Greg can have his cat back... (sorry greg. I'll get it back ASAP) shouldn't take more than an hour, and that's if I'm going stupid slow and drink a beer after removing every bolt/nut.

I can't do it at home currently because my garage is a storage unit for the new kitchen cabinets, and it's a general work space. 2 or 3 more weeks of this F'ing kitchen remodel... Tom, think we can work that in?

Paragon? Is that a website? Dealership? I've ordered through 944online.com for the belts on my 83' NA.

A friend of mine might be in town from Durango so my weekend is up in the air. He has a new M6, trying to get it in for it's 1000 mile service. Kind of a fun car to drive, BTW.

Compressor? why? I know we'll need a torque wrench, a 24mm socket, 10 mm socket, 17mm socket, 19mm socket, 13mm socket, a "buddy bar", 2x 13mm crescent wrenches, 2x17mm crescent wrenches, and a calculator and some scratch paper.

I'll bring my tensioner tool, and some other goodies like the appropriate pulley wrenches and flywheel locks. Hell, i'll just bring my "travel toolbox"
