Default amazing ebay find- 4wd 951

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Cars-...=p4506.c0.m245

Oh yeah, it's listed in the options. Check out the door speakers and the cone filter, too. A shame, it has (apparently) only 46k miles and is right here in durham!

Errr... highly unlikely. It would be very tight up front with a diff and CV joints. The engine looks stock and doesn't seem elevated to accomodate the additional parts needed for AWD.

Yeah I'm with you- I think the seller isn't extremely knowledgeable about his car. Might have to go look just for fun!

I would guess he just accidentally screwd up the listing. nothing more. Not a bad car.

lol i started a thread on this concept last year, we figured it could be doable roughly but would be pretty expensive and not as advanced or effective as a modern quattro drivetrain...

course i cant imagine much of anything that would be able to outhandle a awd 944 lol

Yeah the car doesn't look bad- just noticed it has camber plates! Might as well go by and look since it's in Durham. If anyone is interested, I'll give a report.

Looks like seller clicked the wrong box on the options list. Not too shabby though!

The seller usually sells Jeeps...so maybe the default was 4 wheel drive and he just didn't delete it.

not sure if the 2500 miles on the clock is accurate that ad says. im not sure either. it looks like a garage kept pampered baby from the pictures of the dash and the passenger door. im sure you will agree.

Very interesting color combination. It made an immediate positive impression on me. It looks as though the car was originally black. It also looks as though the seller missed by one decimal place - the odo reading. It looks like 25,9xx. Hard to believe it could be even that low. Especially with new (different) paint. Were it not for it being an auto, being in Fla and that I don't have any money - I'd look into it.

Anyone know how difficult it would be to transfer all the M/T bits to a car built with an A/T? I was looking underneath my car yesterday and found even more rust-through...

i think you are still off by one decimal place. look at the damage to the dash and the messed up top of the passenger door.

Is that rare teal green Geo teal green?

I'm not off one decimal place - but you are correct - the car looks to have many more miles than what is indicated.

Yeah - now that you mention it - it does look like Geo green.
