Question S or Big red adapters for 951

pete95zhn and I have a plan to change our calibers either to 951 S or Big Reds.
To keep final cost down we have a plan to fabricate our own adapters.Do any of you have drawings or just measurements of these adapters available. We might have a possibilty to have these adapters to be done by a qualified company which make aluminum parts for aircrafts…
Pete’s car is ’87 951 and mine is ’88.

I could measure mine this weekend for you. They are fairly simple looking. I think they would be the same for both of your cars.

If someone doesn't get you the info sooner than that, I'll do it and post it for you.

Hello!

Does anyone of you have personal experience in fitting Design 90 -wheels ( 16" ) with TurboS brakes. Do they fit? Or is that S' own disk-style wheel only one that fits, because Teledials (7x16)don't...and 8x16 do barely.
Also I'd like to remind you about that Olli's question!!

Thanks,Pete

They fit!
The Turbo S brakes were standard on the later models and they had the ordinary cast 16".

I will second Duke's comment. They will fit.

Olli,

I will be in the garage on Saturday installing my KLA USTB and I will take some measurements and make a drawing for you. I can then scan it in when I come back to work on 12/23 and email it to you. It won't be as nice as a CAD drawing but it should be what you need to make one.

Thank You!

This wheel thing was a relief.I will still have wheels for my wintertyres,I'll just switch them on D90's and sell those teledials. It's pity that I jus got them powdercoated and now I can't use them.
Also thanks Tifo in advance for those measurements!

Cheers,Pete <img src="graemlins/burnout.gif" border="0" alt="[burnout]" />
