Post places to hide $hit

I was reading on the Audizine forums about places to hide stuff in the A4. I was wondering, does anybody have some "secret" places to hide things in thier car? If you have an OEM sterio, and you have the cubby, you can take out the cubby and put small things back there. Also, if you lift up the carpet in the hatch area, and pull the side carpet back, you can hide stuff behind the rear light housing.

Any others?

What kind of "Stuff"? I keep a 12 Ga. shotgun under my rear carpet, just below the luggage cover. (an AK fits there too but you need to take the mag out and it bulges up a little more due to the pistol grip)

I believe the guys on the V-Tech type R forum have done much research on the topic of hiding their $hit.

Years ago I knew a guy that hid money behide the horn pad in the wheel. If I remember correctly (This was years ago) He also drained the winshield washer resivoir, cleaned it out, and filled it with hard liquer, so he could transport it from party to party and not get cought with it in his car.

Thoes were some odd times indeed.

I would assume he's under age.

Besides if a cop ever found it, you could say that your spray alcohol into your intake to lover intake tempatures or some other BS like that.

Just don't let him taste it!

I hear if you remove the headlights from the pop-up buckets you can retrofit duel rocket launchers under the hood... but the..."$hit" ... you drill out holes in the body to make external cubbys and cover the holes with "type R" stickers. Thats why the ricers have so many type R stickers... its to hide there $hit in... dog.

There's tons of room behind the rear wheel wells. Just pull back the carpeting, on both sides there are cavernous empty areas back there. That bit about the shotgun hidden in the back scares the **** out of me. Only in the US...

A friend of mine used to hide liquor in the wells behind the rear wheels, under the carpet.

Now that I think about it.. that wasn't a real good hiding spot...
