Official 944Fest '08 Thread!
This was my first fest and it was awesome. Had to drive home tonight and drop my friend off at her car, grab some parts from my parts 944 for a lister. Going to head back up around 5am for the car show and the door prizes. It's been great so far, met alot of awesome people.
Driving behind rock is pure entertainment. Who's needs in car a/v when you have him to watch driving. lol
Couple high points
- Top of the Honda tower is awesome! Specially at midnight.
- Andrew does awesome 151 fireballs
- Rock is hilarious
- Dash swap in the middle of the fest ground FTW! Thanks rock.
- Andy helped me diagnose my bad idle.
- The 3 way shoot out with sam, dan, and judson ended with sam's run of
383Hp/423 tq
- I put down 177hp/180tq at the wheels. Not bad for an n/a
- Always bring a banana (as doug termed it).
- Airsoft guns are fun when your shooting people.

I won't lie...I was looking more at your "friend" than the 944s...
Seriously tho...I wish I could make it to the fest this year!!!! Eventually I hope to make it tho...more than likely next year.

she was a hit with everybody. lol Fest was awesome though. I'm mad i didn't make it backup today. My car broke.

Yea, I'm home, but busy unloading. Trav and I have a 6:40 Tee Time. Here is one to hold ya over.

Just got home and unloaded...great seeing everyone again and meeting some new folks. Thanks to tool and reno for messing with my car and getting it tuned. tool fixed my idle issues in about 5 minutes - he is the man (I have something to send you Jim - hope you guys had a safe/uneventful trip home, I know it was a long one..)
Both Dan and Justin's cars are amazing. Justin hurry up and clean your wheels...I know the brake dust and rubber from the track is driving you crazy
