I made it home in record time. I found a "simulated" new BMW 745 on the way home to play with for a couple of hours. Shaved just a few minutes off my 8 hour drive...... I really enjoyed meeting up with everyone! Next year my *** is on the track though.... will post pics after work tomorrow.

I had a blast. Mid-Ohio was great as usual. I def. regret not getting on the track. Met some new people and got a lot of nice comments on my car. Thanks everyone. I got a few nice track shots so if anyone wants a high res copy just pm me. These are just a few..

My girl had fun too.. playing in the grass.. lol

It was very nice to see everyone again. This was a great event. A big THANKS goes out to Travis. With out Renngay this would not have happened.

My highlight was going around the track hammered at 3:00am BACKWARDS !!!
I really cant remember anything else.

Bedtime for me now. I got a total of 10 hours of sleep on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

SSSSSSHHHHHHAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY !!!

A good time at the 'Fest again this year. It was great seeing the old gang and meeting some new faces. Maybe I'll drive one of the 944s next year!!

always a good time at the fest! Travis- thanks for putting this together i know you had some large shoes to fill- literally. It was great to put some more faces with names- Doug nice to finally meet you face to face- Tool- you are the man and we all appreciate you coming out w/ your possie and especially the time you took to super tune some cars.

Great times on the track even though it was a rough three sessions for my car. Best lap time of 1:45 though so its getting there. Shootout w/ Justin , Sammy and I resulted in

Justin 343rwhp best on max chips 21psi?

Dan 359rwhp best on max chips-very happy w/ this- goal was 350@21psi

Sammy 382 rwhp and 432tq @23psi on vitesse and some "tool tuning"

- sammy that is awsome!! Glad i didnt put money on it .Looks like i'll be talking to someone about some new chips soon though- whatdyasay Justin-next year 24lbs??????

Ok time for pics.....sorry i didnt take a ton.

Wish we had things like that out here. Love the modifications to Rocks car. Did he come in with the Pink Racing Stripes? Also how long till he noticed the change on the Rennbay name?

Maybe one day I will go for a roadtrip, till then, keep posting pictures.

We all owe a HUGE debt of gratitude to Travis - RRRRREEEENNNNBBBBAAAAYYYYYY!!! - and also Dan P. who deserves a Lifetime Achievement award for starting and nurturing the 944 Fest. I'm very seldom serious on these boards, but today is an exception. This event eclipses all the others for many reasons, but mostly due to the great enthusiasm and generosity of the 944 crowd!

+1

This year's fest was very different from previous years; and while we didn't have the place to ourselves to run rampant and whatnot, there was still a lot of leeway for that outlet. And the TRACK -- my God! I am officially onboard with upgrading my suspension and engine a bit now.
