Default Any pics of NAs with modified fenders to fit the turbo bumper?

I recently got a steal on a turbo front end (bumper, rebar, shocks) for ~$200 shipped and I'm looking for some pics of the modded fenders.

Someone correct me if im wrong, but I seem to remember xsboost helping rock do this on his old n/a a few years ago.

I think i also recall a guy with a guards red n/a that did this more recently, I believe he was from the bay area.

try searching around a bit, Im shure u can find what your looking for.

it'll probably be easier/cheaper to just get turbo fenders, header panel & headlight covers.

I've got turbo header and headlight panels already. Turbo fenders aren't particularily cheap or available.

iirc you can get by with just turbo fenders, or making a small cut on them to fit. If you don't get the turbo header/headlight panels then there will be a small gap between the bumper and header.

They are longer and flatter looking. You can't really tell much until you see the parts next to each other, then its obvious.

It's a "steal" for a reason.

V2 put a link above to a thread where I gave some instructions on how to do this. Its fairly easy, but just take your time because if you cut too much there's no going back. Barely any metal needs to be removed from the NA fenders to match the 951 profile.

The 951/S2 header panel is more curved to fit the profile of the 951/S2 bumper cover. The headlight covers are also slightly different to match the profile. You really need these to do it right. Don't forget you also would need the black plastic buckets from a 951/S2 as the NA ones won't work. Wiring for the turn signals and fogs is different from the NA cars to the 951/S2 cars. You will need to do some splicing or make some custom plugs. I used commercially available trailer hitch wiring looms.

Sure, you can "get by" and it will look good. Good enough for me to poop on. That gap looks awful. No use doing it if it looks half-azzed.

+1 ive seen someone's car where they just threw the turbo bumper cover on their NA. gap was like 1/2" maybe more and it looked silly.

Yes. They both will look equally poopy with the 951/S2 bumper cover.
