Philip (I hope that's your name...)

One thing you'll learn soon, and it does indeed suck, is that with Porsches, sometimes skimping on price is a bad thing. There are a couple cases where other than OEM tends to fail sooner... (and sometimes where OEM fails sooner....) it's tough to figure it out. in my experiences if I go for the significantly cheaper, it bites me in the ***. I generally use OEM parts, purchased from the dealer (thank god I have a hookup... the parts lady I use, I text message my orders to...LOL.)

if Anything, I'd go for the FAE of the 2 you posted... but I know nothing of either company. I think Porsche uses Bosch... But then again, I just checked with Pelican parts, and they sell FAE.

It's on the underside, directly above and behind the power steering pump on the passenger side of the vehicle. It's near the oil filter, on bottom.

I think the leak comes from a several loose of the hose that is connected to the p/s (the one with 1" of diameter)

but for the wires, im totally lost, what should I do with that

there was one wire disconnected, the one with the bigger terminal, (probably the positive) I cleaned it and recconcted everything, now what ? the warning light stays open all the time and the oil guauge light is open too and the gauge is at the maxium (after 5), PLUS the brake fluid light just pop out of nowhere like that... that is great, I think I will need to buy a new oil pressure sender...

yep, exept the p/s thing... i think the hose is tottaly worn, and i just checked the p/s fluid level and it seems to be low, do I have to bleed the whole reservoir or I can add some more fluid... ?

the hose i'm talking about is the one you see on the pic with a bit of green fluid on it

you can just add some unless it's completely out of the reservoir. these cars are notorious for power steering leaks. just carry a can with ya. Also, it's probably coverd with all that crap because of the convenient location and orientation that Porsche put the oil filter... upside down over a bunch of things.

Yeah... 944>Mazda protoge. so much more fun to drive, even though it's probably slower.

Yep; thanks to Rennlist, I now use the "hulk" method for oil changes, didn't spill a drop

(basically, hold a plastic shopping bag under the oil filter, tight up around and below the base, when removing)
