Default Finally put on my new rims! But how can I tell if there rubbing?

I finally got my new rims on. I love them! I know most people don't though, lol. How can I tell if they are rubbing? After I put them on, I took it around the block to see if they rubbed. I don't feel any vibration or anything, but from 0-30 miles per hour, I could hear something that sounds like it's rubbing. After 30 though, I don't hear anything. The tires are Front-205/55/16 and the rears are 225/50/16. It must be coming from the front, becuase I can shake the steering wheel a little, and the noise will be gone. The sound will come back though, if my wheels are pointed straight. How could they rub though? The front tires I had on before were 205/55/15. The only thing that changed, was that it went from 15, to 16. Anybuddy? Can I drive my car with the tires rubbing?

Perhaps put some chalk on all surfaces that you think could rub. Drive around and see if it leaves any chalk marks on the tires.

Reaching with your hand, at the 12:00 position of the tire, reach over the tire and feel between the strut and the tire, see how much space there is bewteen the two. A common place to rub.

Ok, I found the problem. The front rims are hitting the springs. Not by alot though. If I bought ten washers, would that do the job?

Also, with these new tires and rims, how will it effect handling, and performance?

Smaller spring diameter or small spacer on the front hubs i think is the only way to fix that. Correct me if I'm wrong guys.

Spacer would be the way to go, DO NOT USE WASHERS!

Looks good

Why not washers? Were would I buy spacers. I don't need much to clear the spring.

Default I've been wondering for a while now...

Is "anybuddy" an intentional misspelling to gain favor with other members?

The Pep Boys here in Charlotte had them in stock. Not sure what size increments or bolt patterns they have though. You may also want to check with custom wheel shops. GL and you are welcome, it only took you 9 minutes to find out that I was right!
