Dude, the front and rear bumpers are like 100lbs, take that shizz off and throw on some fiberglass ones! You'll probably gain a second.

but I worked so hard on the raer one.

yeah. the headlights are coming off and im going to use euro bumper and light for headlights and cut most of the rest of the front end off.
And I dont have any traction problems. the thing just takes off. which is why the 7.5 sec is weird. I would think it would be like high 5's...

Maybe the light weight is covering up engine problems? Maybe you're losing hp from a vacuum leak and you don't notice because the thing is still fast.

Besides an exhaust leak, and some major oil leaks that will need addressing pretty soon the engine is fine.

im about to install a SMT6. maybe even today. but that brings up the question....how do I hook it up?! plenty of turbo guys have. but NA guys?

ya dude.... 7.5 is slow as hell there has to be some other problem and its not weight related. At 2000 lbs the car should really scoot 0-60 with a 5 speed

with that weight and amount of HP id expect it easily to get into the low 6s. if you had some more weight on the back axle i think youd be able to get a better launch and faster times.
