How do you heel-toe in a 944?

Wide boots don't work for me, they're too bulky and heavy, cant "feel" the car through them. Pumas ftw
Check out this site i found it when i actually "learned how to drive"

There really is no right or wrong way to heel & toe as long as you are doing the following in order:
1. Place your foot firmly on the brake pedal so that there is zero chance of it slipping off.
2. Get any part of your foot over far enough to blip the throttle for a seamless downshift.
If you're doing that you win. There are no style points for one way of doing it vs. another.

One of my favorite videos - Walter Rohrl doing some insane footwork:

It keeps your car from jerking around and changing momentum while you're going around turns, etc. You'll have smooth power going in to, and around the turn, and since you were able to downshift you'll have enough power to accelerate quickly once you're out of the turn.
I agree boots are bulky etc, but the ones I have been using are worn down to practically nothing so they wear like shoes
