My '86 951 has frog lights that look like a frog light/driving light combo...about 12" wide. Only half lights up when I turn the switch on. Is the other half just some type of diffuser or am I missing something?

Sorry if this seems like a stupid question...I'm new to the car.

you DO know it's called fog light right.... o.O
unless you're dodging frogs in the fog over there in San Jose.

The frogs come out in the fog. I bought the car for frog hunting. They taste better than chicken.

yes, its just a reflector on the other side. the euro foglights have a driving light in the other side. You can buy the euro lenses and wire harness kit at a few vendors.

in the light panel there is provision for another bulb to screw in on each side; i put an appropriate bulb there and jumped some power off the other bulb and now they both light up.
