Default FS 16v 3.0 turbo conversion parts

Hi Folks,

cross post from S2 forum

Some of you may recall I built a high compression, mid boost turbo some time back on my 944S2 cabrio. I spent a lot of time and effort on the custom parts needed to do this. The results were beyond my expectations, awesome & the aesthetics look factory.

Since then I am part way through a phase two rebuild with a significant amount of power in mind 600+HP, I'm a greedy horsepower junkie I know, so this will mean substantially upgrading all my original parts.

So here is a short cut for those who wish to convert the 3.0 16v to a turbo, all the hard work done. The original goal was 400HP and this kit of parts will help achieve that.

16v turbo inlet manifold
951 throttle body rebuilt
larger alloy inter cooler pipes custom built
3" alloy inlet to turbo
Porsche by pass valve
By pass tubing and clamps
55lb flow matched flow 12 ohm injectors (4 months use)
all silicon hoses & clamps

In the picture attached the items included are marked with an "x", did'nt mark the 4 x injectors

U.S$850 plus postage - to the U.S will be about $60, local in Aust around $15

I don't wish to split the package.

regards
mike

Wow, some crazy work went into that didn't it? Suddenly I wish I had a 16V to put this on.

Good luck on the sale!

Good thing this didn't come around 3 weeks ago... I would've been all over it and out of a job.

Good luck with the sale, wish I could help you out.

I have the turbo engine mount and most of the oil lines if someone needs them.

Mike told me once his set up cost HIM like 3 grand or something? And he had enough boost to blow his headgasket, and enough power to blow away the average modded 951.

Aside from this stuff you need the turbo mount, oil and water lines, crossover, reflange your headers, IC, turbo, EMS... someone finish this list for me!

$850 is a killer deal, as just a 16v turbo intake can cost over $1000 depending on where you buy from.

I am staring to want to do the turbo conversion again...
I have debated it for well over a year, collected most of the parts, then sold most of the parts.

lol, so that's where all those parts are coming from!

I am going to convert both mine to turbo! Maybe the second one will be 16v but the first one definitely 8v.

Arash, yout right the conversion I did high compression and mid boost was awesome, if I do another street car I will go this route again for sure, but reduce the compression from the outset to 9.3:1 with a HG.

This time around I am after major horsepower, so I'll need to look at all areas of the system hence why I am selling the 400hp level stuff.

To complete you will need a standalone EMS (very complex), engine mount (easy), oil supply to turbo via tap balance shaft housing (medium), oil drain (simple), cross over mods (medium), intercooler (on a S2 easy) then add my bits (easy) and you have some serious horsepower.

However please dont think this is a lego/mechano type addition, you do need to seriously know what you are doing re tuning, you will need fabrication skills. Otherwise it will cost you.....
