Default Power seat adjustment

Is there a way to manually adjust the seat height of power seats?

Thanks!

I am 99% sure there isn't a way to change the height manually.

are your motors bad or just the switch? if it is just the switch that isnt working properly than there is a way to get the seat to move by providing an outside power source. i used a computer and the jury rigged some wires from a voltmeter into it so that they provided power. i found the plug that controlled height by tracing the wire from the switch back to the plug. then i just touched the ends of the wires to the plugs in the seat. if it moves the wrong direction then reverse the positive negative.

this post will make alot more sense if you have seen the wiring for the power seats

It may be that your power switch is just stuck. Try this: remove the bezel surrounding the seat switches for better access. Take a can of WD-40, tilt the defective switch button just enough to get the tube underneath and give it a good squirt. The switch may very well become operative again. Two of mine did!

The rear adjustment switch is toast. So either I replace it or if I can tap the wires, make the adjustment then remove remove the fuse.

On my driver side seat my first switch dosn't work. How do I find out if it's the motor, or the switch?

Did you try the WD-40? It works.

My power seats work, but I never use the switches, just do everything manually.

4-way power seats can't slide forward/backward manually.

The switch is gone, i mean in pieces. Don't think WD-40 would work.

Is this is a 4-way switch or 2-way?

your only option is to buy a new switch or hotwire it with some outside power source
