I also have a magnaflow 2.5 with a test pipe, and i ran it for about a week before i had to take it off due to the fact that at 6k it literally sounds like ym car is just going to blow up!

Have you heard a 944 with no muffler? It does not sound like a 4 banger.

I have the XR-1, but my car is a turbo so its not as loud as it would be on an NA. Hey Devon, post a link to your videos you made with it.

what model Borla would fit an early NA. 2.5 inlet? anybody find them cheap somewhere?

I'm always recommending SFR - or at least the Borla XR-1 muffler as it sounds so much deeper. The magnaflow just sounded too high-pitched and edged on ricey in high RPM. I ditched the Magnaflow for this:
