Default What the hell color is my interior?

On my option sticker near the spare tire the color codes for my car is listed as:

Paint color: LB8Z
Interior color: QX

According to Clark's, the name of the paint is Mahogany Brown Metallic. However, "QX" is nowhere present on the interior color codes chart. I need to redo my dash, but every time I get samples of vinyl from GAHH or the other companies the colors are never even close.

Here's a picture. Disregard the plastic dashcap, that didn't work at all.

I'd rather not have to redo my doors too in order to match...

I don't think they use a color code for the dash and trim parts, just the seats. Yours is exactly like my 83 was...Grey Beige was the code on my option code tag. There was a dark brown seat fondly referred to as Poopy Brown on the early cars.

I had the same interior in my old car. I tried to find replacement leather for my seats and had no luck. I settled with some leather 930 sport seats. The color was a little off but close enough.

I ordered some color samples of the grey beige here and it was very close. leather does fade, especially on a 24 YO car.

Yep. I'm pretty sure Rob could match the color. You'd probaly just have to send him a sample piece.

Dude, sack up and change the color of the vinyl. Oh, by the way, I know what the color code QX is. It's called "matte dysentery"
