were the ground effects under the rear bumper put on from the factory or is it an after market part?
I just bought the car a few months ago and i love it.

There is a factory piece that does go there (looks more like a wing), but it was not stock on non-turbo cars like yours, but is a direct bolt-on.

The piece you have is aftermarket.

thats probl an aftermarket copy of the factory euro rear valance.

Was there ever such a piece? I heard it was just 'made up' by the aftermarket companies, and that there never was a rear valance that looked like his made by the factory.

it also has a black exhaust tip that looks like it came from the factory and the underside of the bumper has the anti rust coating (not sure if thats what it called) on the mounting points which also makes me think that it was from the factory, however i have never seen this on any other 944

Its aftermarket. I like the look of them though, but the factory turbo/s2 looks better IMHO.
