Default Rear quater panels removal?

Anybuddy know how to take the rear quarter panels off? I thought it would be just to unscrew some screws, but there this thing that hooks onto the seats when you fold it up. Somebuddy please tell me how.

For the interior, taking the windows out is what you'll have to do.

The rear quarter panel skin is spot welded in many many spots and if you didn't know that, I wouldn't even begin to replace the quarter panel yourself as it involves a good amount of skill to do it right. It is double layered in some spots and professional replacement of the quarter panel will cost more than your entire car 99 percent of the time.

you can remove them without pulling the windows but you have to be SUPER careful. i did it when i replaced my speakers

there is some adhesive on the front side next to the door that youll need a paint spatula or something to slice through.

Hi there... just got done doing this myself... I tried to do the panel removal without the window coming out and bit the bullet -- nothing ventured, nothing gained. I am here to tell you that removing the windows is THE way to do this. You will spend less time and aggravation. Clarks has a great write up and if you get stuck PM me. The rope trick is spot on. Both out and back in less than 5 minutes each.

I'll PM you once I try to pull them off. But what about that seat latcher thing? How does that come off?

The post for the rear? Leave that there... just take the rubber stop and spacer off.

You can, but you don't need to.

I did because I was concerned about it pulling in when I replaced the window...
