I have seen chromed PDs on a spec car. I don't think chrome adds much weight but you know the saying in the motorcycle world (probably mostly directed toward harleys): if it aint fast, chrome it.

Hope to meet the rest of you guys soon. Date and time yet? I flew off track at Streets last week and my car's making some funny noises, so it'd be nice to have some real experts look at it before I spent $90/hr on my mechanic...

Darwin, I ordered some new lock nuts from Sunset porsche so I'll put them in once they arrive. Concerning the wastegate, I'm just looking forward to the next project. A turbo reseal and rebuild and maybe a wastegate.
