Just came across this in my local newspaper, price/year/somthing can't be right. Will call and post updates.

Probably has a Salvage title.

Might even look something like this.



Saw something like that on Craigslist here once. The guy wrote "small dent in fender panel. easily repairable". The car looked like it hit a moose at 100mph.

I think typo also, says 'great condition, always garaged', mobile # is a fax, have emailed the seller.

Something like 5% or slightly more early 996s experienced engine failure rather quickly, this could be one. Engine cost including installation is around $10k.

I think it's a scam. There was a listing a 2-3 months ago, almost the same MO. That's about the 3rd time I've seen an ad like that. The price is $20,000 too low.

Be carefull..there were a few recent incidents with Pcars in the NY metro area where a seemingly to-good to be true deal was offered on the web....cash only. Buyers were beaten at the site of the proposed exchange and their money taken.
