Plug? Or Not?
Is there supposed to be a plug in the "drain" of the spare tire well or not?

i always pull those out- if you do get a leak in the hatch or if the sunroof drain gets clogged- then your quarter fills with water! I dont see much coming into them from the road though.

There is one in mine as well, but I can't figure out where the water that's in there is coming from. Hm.

You are supposed to have your oil tank vent line in that spot.

The one on mine is not exactly a plug, but more of a triangular cone with a bleed slit in the end. I have only seen two cars with it since most of them have been knocked out and lost.

Hm. Mine has like a Home Depot-ish rubber cork in there. I'll probably take that out while my car sits outside this weekend, at least...
