Default Help with '86 944 alarm, ignition

I'm turning a street '86 944 (not S, not T) into a spec race car and am worried about the wiring. I don't even know where to start. I guess the first thing I'd like to know is does the ignition and/or alarm signal go through the DME? If so, how do you separate them so you can start the car with the alarm removed and the ignition setup as a keyless push button start?

Thanks for any help.
