If so can you post pics and any tips on how you built it? TIA,

I won mine a little over a decade ago. It looked like like a banana and I used graphite lub on the wheels to help it go. I won for my pack but got raped at the next level. I will try to post pics tonight.

My father built a end all P Car pine wood dirby car when I was 11 because honestly the dads have more fun with it than the kids, it has a metal chasis and a body from a fiberglass mold he created. I will see if I can get some pics. I also had a pretty sweet formula and Delorean.

In 1969 I made my second pinewood derby car. Thinking back (sorry, no pics), it looked like a stylized (blocky) version of the 944 series. Maybe therapy might reveal my affinity for my 951.
(Btw, my first pinewood derby car looked more like a formula 1 car of the era. However, there's no F1 car in my driveway.)

i used to win pinewood derbys all the time like 6 yrs in a row. my dad would use his dental tools to smooth out all the defects in the axle, and then cut the plastic tires down so that only a little tiny bit actually touched the ground. we won by so much it was almost like cheating.
