Default Fuchs anyone?

I just ran across this ad while looking for some audi parts. Are they Porsche Fuchs, or does Audi have some too?

Fuchs are found on many makes of European autos. They are know for a very specific style for Porsche.

Here is a pic of Audi Fuchs.

Slightly off topic, but what's the proper way to say Fuchs?

I thought there was only 2 kinds of Fuchs wheels... Those that are blacked out around the spokes (the Original Kind), and those that are black centers...

The Wheel Pictured (to me) is an Audi 5-spoke wheel...

Are all 5-spoke wheels "Fuchs"... I don't think so... Then again, I could be wrong...

If sombody said, "There goes a car with Fuchs Wheels", I would bet my last dollar that car would be a Porsche...

Has things changed that much?

If I remember correctly, Fuchs is the name of the company that makes the wheels (for a lot of manufacturers), Ferry Porsche is the one who designed the now famous 5 spoke design that we all picture as the timeless "Porsche" Fuchs. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong..

Correct. Fuchs is a company. Like BBS. They have many styles. What a Mercedes owner call a Fuchs wheel is very different from what a Porsche owner knows as a Fuchs wheel.

They are the "classic" Porsche wheel. Forged, early offset, deep dish and Porsche designed. They represent an era gone by for Porsche.

There are others that look better but I do love the look of an '86 951 with Fuchs. A white Porsche with black stone guards and Fuchs is a great look.

They are coveted because they are LIGHT and strong. Like others have said, I was pretty sure that fuchs is a manufacturer. I also thought they made the clubsport wheels from the turbo S. Can anyone comment?

While they don't look the best... they do look bad ***. I got more compliments when I had my 15" fuchs then my 16" wheels
