Removed the Power steering bracket looking for a leak found nothing.
Don't see anything comming from the oil pump or oil filter housing.
Any suggestions I am stumped?
TIA

mine was doing that and it was that small crappy seal on the front of the cam housing leaking behind the belt covers and dripping onto the balance shaft. Took awhile to find it but now that i fixed it she's dry.

I think you would probably die on the spot if you saw a similar picture of what my engine looks like from that angle.
I left a small pool of oil in my sister's garage once. This is even with new oil cooler seals and front engine seals.

Invest the extra money and replace all 3 of the metal sleeves when doing a front engine re-seal. (both balance shafts and camshaft) Depending on how many miles are on the engine, also replace the oil pump drive gear. All of these items will eventually develop a groove from rubbing on the seals. If you only replace the seals and still have leaks, check the condition of these sleeves.

I'd vote for front balance shaft seal from that housing as well. Two other options are the oil pressure sender (unlikely, but you might get lucky) or it could be a bit of left over oil that you missed last time you removed the filter (no one's ever that lucky).

Well I followed your suggestions and checked the cam box gasket and the oil filter housing and every square inch of the block with no luck.
I dismissed the lower BS seal suggestions at first because the seal is new. I am re-thinking that because the only leak I could find is around the balance shaft. So I think I will pull it again replace the rubber gasket again and this time SEAL the housing with Yama Bond and see what happens.
Any fault with this plan?
I want to thank all who have responded. I was very surprised to find the WATER COOLED Forum much more responsive
than the 944 Turbo Forum.
I wonder why that is? Not enough drama in an oil leak I guess???![ducking](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/icon107.gif)
thanks again,

If the lower BS seal is new and still leaking, you may have to replace the sleeve on the balance shaft, just like aribop said.
Over time the seal wears a groove in the sleeve, and even when you put a new seal in, the groove is still there, and oil leaks.
When you change the seal, check the condition of the sleeve. If there is a groove that is deep enough to catch your fingernail on, then it needs replacing.
Another possibilty, i dont think anyone mentioned, is the mylar washers at the balance shafts. Were these replaced and installed correctly?
Alot of people forget these. I know I did, and I had a simular leak as you.
