Default So who's 944 smoked my ZO6??

hey,

looking for a silver normaly aspirated 944 who ran a red c5 zo6 last night on the way from columbus to cusseta ga (us-280). yanked me hard on the hit and just walked away!

are there any regional forums on here where i might find this guy? looking for any details on this ufo.

i had a normal 944 about 10 years ago and it was probably the single best car i've owned. seriously thinking about getting another one or a turbo.

thanks- ed

Probably DVC. https://rennlist.com/forums/showthre...ght=sts+camaro

He has a pretty potent little N/A packing an LS2 and some goodies. Both of you are in Georgia too. Whatta nice kill (for him)!

Yeah, I'd say it would've had to be him..lol.

His car is ****ing beast though, so don't feel bad. It's a sleeper for people that actually know how fast a n/a is supposed to be.

Isn't there a purple LS6 951 running around? It's a track car, but I could have swore it had a LS6 in it!

I'm not a fan of the whole straight line racing, BUT, that would have been awesome to see a 944 pull on a Z06!! I guess there's no video??

I am, and I can't believe seeing this post! This is definitely not the typical reaction you get from a Vette driver. That was a great run, Ed. Your car is really strong. If I had known you were an ex 944 driver, I would have stopped to chat.

that thing was explosive on the hit.
That's the LS2. It's making over 30rwtq more than the LS6 across the curve, and a little more peak HP. I'm using an '02 WS6 PCM so there's no TM or any other electrical nannies that are plaguing the C6LS2.

Would you be willing to run again, but on video? The camera man can ride in my car....

PS Can't believe you found me! Let's take it to PM so we don't bug the forum.

alright so a 944 V8 ls conversion smokes a C5 z06 duh.. where is the surprise? You got to see the face of the v8 driver when you tell him that just got smoked by a 4cyl. car, lol I did that in my 951 plenty of times.
