Front Fender removal

Front Fender removal
I'm taking the front fenders off my 89n/a.
I've removed the bolts under the hood and the bolts under the fender.
The front of the fender is loose but it feels like they are bolted back by the doors. Are there bolts in the door jam that i can't see?
Thanks

Three bolts inside and then there's also one that holds the fender to the front nose panel. It can be accessed through the headlight area. Put the lights up and stick your finger in there. You'll feel it.

Where the fender meets the door jamb. Door removal is definitely not required. I believe the 89 used plastic fender shields which need to be removed to gain access to the door jamb bolts. On the early cars there is no fender shields and this area gets heavily undercoated so the bolt heads can be buried in undercoat.

late cars got the undercoat as well. Once the bolts are out, take a razor around the edge of the fender where it meets the body- then pry lightly on the bottom of the fender and the body - once the glue starts to separate your home free- be patient or youll tweek the fender.

Sorry to bring this up after so long, but after trying and failing on my 84, I was wondering if anyone had some inner pics of the fender (parters???). I just need to know where the bolts are, excluding the engine bay bolts and the one attached at the nose panel.
PLEASE HELP ME! I am down to my last parts fender, and I don't want to mess it up. Also, should I use a propane torch to loosen the undercoating, or will it come off fairly easily?

There is one bolt under the rubber shield on the headlight that you may have to remove the rubber shield to get to. There should be three more holding the lower valance and fender together. You can cut the undercoating around the three bolts near the door and you may have to hammer the socket onto those to loosen them. Use a box blade to cut up and down the upper fender adhesive and then go underneath with the blade to cut along the fender from inside the wheel well. Slowly pry along the top to release and it should come off.

There is also a bolt on the outside on the very bottom along the rocker. There are 8 other bolts besides the ones along the top (1 by the headlight, 3 to the valance, 3 along the door jamb and 1 on the rear bottom edge).

Alex, the easiest way to undo the door jam bolts is to put your socket on a long extension, and heat up the socket with a torch (even a cigarette lighter will work) and then just push the hot socket through the undercoating onto the bolt head.
I have a fender in my garage and can take pictures later of the mounting locations.
