Default Parting out 89' 944 S2 w/LSD turbo project

x-post

Hi,

I will start parting out the car this month. Ideally I would like to get rid of major components first locally. Car has 150 000 km or 93 000 miles. I can assist or install most of my parts if you are local. I am located in Montreal and can also deliver within a reasonable radius (upstate NY, VT, Ontario...)

Transmission is an LSD unit out of an 86' turbo with LSD and oil cooler. Shifts great, synchros great in every gear, no excuses no non-sense. $1400 OBO

Engine is stock with good leak-down numbers. Always serviced/maintained regularly, belts, water pump, vacuum lines etc. in last 15 000km. Head suffered cam chain tensioner failure so the cams were replaced (read new) and a new tensioner was welded in. Should be good for another 80 000 miles without touching the head except for changing the tensioner pad. I will consider parting it out and can include forged 951 con. rods, mint 951 intercooler and clean 951 intake manifold. I also have a 2.7 liter 8 valve head in nice shape. Depending on what you want I am quite negotiable. Would like to get $3000 OBO for the complete engine including all the trimmings, DME with firehawk chip, exhaust, etc... If not I may consider parting the engine.

The interior and white body panels are all clean. Seats have no rips, dash is also very clean. If you are looking for a front end turbo conversion this would be great. If you have a regular n/a, the 4 pot calipers, spindles, hubs, rotors would be a great upgrade. I also have a bunch of spare parts like vented a.i.r. nose panel and 968 wing and trim to convert your hatch. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions.

Ugh that car looks to be in good shape but nonetheless I'm looking for prices on the following:

- front brake calipers
- A/C parts including compressor, condensor, and control unit
- instrument cluster
- window regulators
- AFM
- ISV
- AIR nose panel

That's all I can think of right now but I'll let you know if I come up with anything else!
