Roger, yeah, your car should be on the road, laying waste to the local "super"cars by Sunday.

If my car isn't running can I drive your NA?

The Taco Tuesday crew tonight were asking about the Wentworth Springs-Ice House Run. I'm going to have to squeeze that one in somewhere soon but maybe only locals are interested anyway. It seems like all the Nor-Cal runs are all very behind this year. My wife called last years trip the Hell Run due to the heat wave we had that day...God it was hot! I remember Rogers pic of his dash thermometer at 116 deg. and Chris' PS belt squealing like Ned Beatty in Deliverance. Ah, the good times!

What is this other run you're talking about Steve?

I may have to have a wrenching party to get my car back together quick enough for all these runs...

Works for me. Well, assuming you don't mind any possible repairs taking months and the car's engine mysteriously becoming a 2.5 when I leave.

Yeah it was a real 'funny' day Serge's car almost falling on him, someone almost sideswiped a Forest Service truck, someone managing to back into a boat trailer, two groups of Keystone Cop Porsches going in different directions, radio reports that the Sheriff is on the way, Roger's mirror, a black 951 trying it's hand at off-roading, Chris's Ned Beatty belt squeal, and I believe I had the only working AC. Karen and I bought the Mega Kegger Slurpees only to realize there was no place to put them and between the legs wasn't an option after about 60 seconds.
