Thumbs up Paragon is the place!!!

A few weeks ago my brother ordered a new WP, belts, etc. for his (my former) gray S2.

He had the stuff shipped directly to our wrenches house three day, and paid a little extra for the service. The stuff arrived Friday, we dropped his car off Sunday and our wrench opened the box Wednesday.

Long story short the WP was broken, and it was not UPS's fault.

Longer story short, my brother ordered a second WP from Paragon and paid dearly to have it shipped fast.

Chuck said he couldnt give money back on the first because he didnt believe it went out bad.

The bad one was sent back, and after Chuck saw it was indeed bad and not bad as a result of shipping or abuse/stupidity/etc. of our wrench he refunded my brother the money, shipping, shipping, etc.

here is to Paragon. They stand behind what they sell.

I hope they will ship to me in Denver!

Agreed, Paragon is my fave parts place. They will go out of the way to get you set up right. I've had very good experiences. So many in fact that Citibank has stopped payments to them twice because they thought someone stole my credit card and was buying too many Porsche parts Damn turbo!

They're great. The one time I had to send something back it was a brake caliper that didn't fit. Whatever it's for, the bolt pattern is the same as our cars but the rotor is much thinner. They sent me a new one with a label to put the wrong part in at no cost.

My one regret is that now I live too far away from them for standard shipping to get here in 1-2 days.

I always ordered stuff from them, until a bosch 3 bar fpr purchased from them failed after 3 weeks of use !! They wouldn't take it back and wouldn't even give me a deal on a replacement. I know it wasn't their fault that it failed, but they could have given me a replacement or at least a discount on another considering the situation.

Prior to that, they had always been great about shipping stuff ovrnight, two-day, etc.

Ted, I see that you bought a regulator in 6/05. Generally a part like that is guaranteed for a year so I'm at a bit of a loss to understand why there was an issue. Heck, we even refunded on an Adj. regulator one time where the guy must have used vise grips to attach it and then played football with it on an asphalt parking lot after he took it off. BTW, he wasn't very good at catching.

Lol-- good story, Jason !!

I don't remember who I spoke with- it has been so long. Whoever it was simply told me that you guys could not do returns on fuel system parts. I was a bit upset considering it had failed so quickly !!

No big deal, water under the bridge now that it has been over 2 years. Like I said, other than that you guys have always been great- even rush shipping, etc.
